Every quarter, we visit college campuses to teach local college students about the potential risks of gambling. We connect campuses with local recovery resources.
Did you know?
College students have the highest rates of clinical gambling problems. It is estimated that up to 75% of college students gamble each year.
Knowing how to identify gambling problems and getting help early can prevent poor academic performance, debt, social isolation, and even suicide.
Central Oregon Community College
Each quarter, END Problem Gambling joins the Central Oregon Community College Jump Start event for new students to raise awareness. ENDposts awareness fliers in residence halls and student life centers, provides resources for campus counselors, gives educational presentations, and offers information to the student life website and campus newspaper. END plans to expand this project to other community college and university campuses.
